#2 GRADE: This grade is popular in cabins and homes built for a "rustic look". Heart- wood content averages fifty percent. Fre- quent knots and nail holes are permissible. Interesting color variations.

#1 GRADE: Our best-selling flooring grade, "#1" is usually used as a kitchen, den, or family room. Ninety to one hundred percent heartwood content. Small nail holes and tight, sound knots permissible. Approxi- mately 70-75 percent clear.

SELECT: This wood grade, excellent for formal areas, has also found demand for furni- ture and cabinet work. Ninety-five to one hundered percent heartwood content, it also has more clear surface area. In- frequent nail holes and small knots.

SELECT EDGE GRAIN: Excellent for stiles and rails, flooring, furniture, and cabinet work, "Select Edge" demonstrates why heart pine is considered one of the most valuable woods today. Same specifications as "Select," but with close, densely packed vertical grain lines
